Default HELP! overheating problem...

hey HT, im a noob here and i wanted to know what up with my teg. recently i been noticing that my car has been overheating when im idleing or im driving really slow. i changed my thermostat and it help a little bit. do you guys think its my head gasket? anyone experienced this?

check ur dipstick if ur oil is milky in color ur gasket blew but it might be ur water pump

Take your radiator cap off when the car is cold and let the car idle until regular running temp. Sometimes you can get airbubbles in your coolant lines/block/head and it will cause over heating.

If you changed your t-stat, did you properly burp the system? It might just have been your thermostat and now you have an air pocket in your cooling system.

thanks for the advice guys! my fan works and my oil is not milky i will try burping it as soon as my car cools.
