ok so you guys i just bought a 90 da ls
and the car is clean title from what i know never been in a accident
but there is something off about the car
when i drive the car humms .....
i have had someone past by in the car and you can not hear it from the outside but you can hear it from the inside in the rear,
the funny thing is the faster you go the louder it gets.
so i am thinking that maybe the car is rubbing on something but what could it be does anyone know ??????

does it sound like its coming from the speakers at all? it could be interference from the alternator or a bad ground to the radio. i used to have a humming in my car, it was from interference from the cigarette lighter (using a satelitte radio)
Fender well could be rubbing, part of the sheet metal can come loose and rub, seen that a few times. is it a Hum you can hear, or a hum you can feel? Or both.

to check and no it is not coming from the rear speakers it has none but lots of people are stating that it could be the wheel bearing if one exist .

could be road noise from the tries on the ground....all integras let in some road noise...
wheel bearing would sound like a knocking not a hum
if it is lowered it can rub on the inner fender and make a vibration up the steering rack.
but i think it could be road noise...
what psi are your tires set @
also these are just trouble shooting options not the real answer...so if you post up what you have done or going to do it will take sumthings off the list....

is it at at least 35 psi when the tires are cold?
my rear makes a waterfall sound when it rains because i drilled a hole under the spare tire so water leaking in could get out
did you try to adjust the ebrake cable?
how many clicks does it take when you pull on it to grab tightly?

i never counted that but that would be a good idea hmm i think it make 7-10 clicks which i think is the normand the tires are at specs of what the tires do ask which is 35psi
and i jus remembered another thing that can be making that noise is the brake caliper rubbing on the rotor...to check jack up the back side of the car and take off the ebrake with the car in reverse so it cant roll forward...
then spin by hand both tires and see if one has alot of drag
