OK well let me rephrase my question...i just did lsv and i swaped a 16a2 head everything is stock like mani,cams,valvs, nd **** liek that, my vtec pops at 6rpm it used to pop louder when i didnt get the valve adjustment but when i did, it isnt that loud any more its more like baby vtec.... any tips or answers?

 

Well, if it's stock it wont "pop". It's not supposed to "pop". It supposed to smoothly engage and that's about it.

If you have a i/h/e, you'd hear a audiable difference. When vtec engages, your engine would get louder...but no pop.

Dont worry about it so much. Like I said earlier, it either works or doesnt. Once you start modding your engine, you'll hear a difference and that should be good enough.
