Default help identifying sensor?

Was checking out my car(2000 integra gsr) and noticed this sensor loose on my car. Was wondering where it goes to ?im still a noob and dont know much Thanks.

N it came from down here

The viewpoint appears to be from the driver's side looking down on the alternator.. the connector may be the one that matches the crank fluctuation sensor that's behind the damper pulley - wire pops out somewhere to the left (towards engine) of the alternator.

You can live without it (see CKF bypass) but if the ECM wants and misses it you'll get a code.

CKF and depending on what ECU you use it might throw a code. You can also bypass it.

I'd put some tape or something over the 12v wire on your alternator. If that thing grounds out you could have some serious problems.

Looked at the pic again... looks like the boot is still there perhaps? If so pull that thing over the post and nut!

that's a cfs plug. unused with a jdm ecu. you should have another loose wire with a green plug by the vtec solenoid and yet another for the evap purge solenoid
