Default DIY: LED/XENON BULBS - EVERY BULB TYPE LISTED Cluster/Climate Control/Exterior/Interior

I have been wanting to post this up for a long time now. I finally got bored enough to just settle down for a few hours and edit the pictures and find the information i had collected.

This is basically for anyone who wants to replace or modify their Interior/Exterior bulbs with LEDs/Colors. Everything single bulb located on this car should be listed below. If you have any question or concerns, feel free to ask me. If i posted some faulty information i will be sure to correct it once it is pointed out and made clear to me that the information given is correct.

I did this on my own car (No Current Pictures. It's In The Paint Shop) I have a JDM ITR Cluster that glows Amber.

So what i bought was:
Neo Type-B x4 (Amber) - Climate Control
74 x2 (Amber) - (1)Coin Tray (1)Cig. Lighter
196 Xenon White x4 - (3)Cluster (1)License Plate
3022 Xenon White x4 - (2)Map Light (1)Trunk Light (1) Dome Light

<FONT SIZE="4">My Personal Check Out List:CLICK TO VIEW FULL SIZE IMAGE</FONT>

I wasn't able to find Neo Type-A bulbs that were in "Glass" type bulbs. So i got innovative and i had an extra climate control laying around. I knew that the Defrost light when activated was Amber colored. So i took that bulb and used it for my Hazard light. So i basically kept my Defrost bulb and reused my extra Defrost bulb and put it in the Hazard.

--- I did spend some time on it Lot's of time. I just know that i see people wanting to change their interior lights/climate control lights all the time but nobody ever knowing the correct bulb sizes or types they should buy in order to do it.

So i just kind of made it simple. Look here for the bulb you want and there it is. FAQ section is better than nothing. Just don't want this thread to be archived with the rest.

Do the neo type bulbs have another name too? Cuz I can't seem to find them. I found similar ones here:
http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs/74_t15.htm

I don't know if any of those would work in there or not? Thanks.

I'm not 100% sure but i think the neo type A bulbs are the same as the B8.3D LEDs and the neo type B bulbs are the same as the T1.5 LEDs found on SUPERBRIGHTLEDS.COM. The housing mount things look slightly different but the contacts are all in the same spots and the same size. So they should work. This directly takes you there, they have all the lights listed above: http://www.superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html

I've ordered from them before and they make quality stuff, with a 1 year warranty. I'm getting Blue cluster lights to match my CD deck. and some LED front blinkers

Just use

http://www.autolumination.com

They have everything you need.

"T1.5, B8.5D and B8.3D LED Car Bulb"

Those are NOT the same as the NEO bulbs. Neo bulbs have a pos and neg wire that is ran through the adapter. Those from the pictures look totally different.

The adapters look different but the contacts are all in the same spots and if you look at the technical view of the LEDs the adapter is exactly the same size as the ones pictured on the measuring tape.

--- The site i provided has LED lights that you are looking for. I just didn't want to use LED lights in my car. I preferred to just use the xenon/halogen bulb types.

I'm curious to see how these look mounted and lit up in the tail lights. I'm not willing to fork out $60+ for a set of lights tho haha.

btw - Nice write up mang! Should be placed in the FAQS

--- It should be, i even asked the mods to move it there. They never responded.

Anyways about that LED bulb you showed interest in. My educated guess would have to be, it would just create a hot spot. Since LED's light is not dispersed, and it is too close to the tail light housing itself to let it open up a bit. It would just be a couple bright circles inside the tail light. I think. Makes sense to me.
