ok i ordered some 96 GSR cams and i'm havin trouble figuring out which one is exhaust and which one is intake .... because one of them broke on the way to my house due to shippin ... so how can i tell which one is which so i can go ahead and post a WTB topic and get another one

 

i noticed that in the middle of both camshafts there are letter ... one has P and B and the other has C and S...... the one thats broken is the C - S one .....

 

THE INTAKE CAM SHOULD HAVE A SLIT IN THE END OF IT WHERE THE DISTRUBITOR PLUGS INTO IT. BOTH COMS WILL HAVE ONE SIDE WHERE THE CAMS WILL HAVE A THREADED HOLE IN ONE END WHERE THE CAM GEARS BOLT TO THE CAMS BUT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE INTAKE CAM IT WILL HAVE A SLIT IN THE END. HOPE THIS HELPS
