So, I checked my spark plugs, only cylinder 1 has oil all over it on the spark plug...

I got it cleaned off and went off to buy a valve cover gasket and grommits or however you spell it but not in stock, so my car is sittin in the parking lot unattended which sucks...

I get no spark also so it might be my dizzy???

Any suggestions will be appreciated...

It's a 95 LS...

 

Bump sorry I just need to get this done like quick and I wanna know why every spark plug I put in cyl. one gets covered in oil...

 

Could it be rings, or just the gasket???

 

check your main relay if tis "clicking" when you switch ON, check your fuel pump if it is priming. also check your dizzy if you are getting any spark, pull any wire and have it tap to any steel part of your engine, have your friend crank the engine on cabin, you should getting any spark. if there is no spark prolly your coil. check your igniter also if there is continuity. gl

 

take off the distributor cover off and take a look inside to see if it is wet or anything is broken!

 

when you putting back the valve cover do you put some rtv on 4 plug gasket and vc gasket?
