Default HELP. B18B1 Bogging Down

My Integra just recently started doing this, at about 4k RPM it'll bog down and if I keep my foot on the gas it'll catch back up and launch forward, or I can just shift, but then the next gear will most likely do it. It doesn't do it everytime I drive, just does it randomly. Any ideas?

Pull spark plugs and check their condition, [color].
Check fuel pressure, when was the last time fuel filter was changed?
Check your grounds, [batt., batt. to chassis and chassis to engine] also check the grounds at the thermostat housing, do not just eyeball them, remove/clean/reconnect.
Check your TPS.
The list goes on and on, but the above are the things I would check first. 94

Check your spark plugs. If the problem is not your spark plugs, check your timing. This would be the perfect time to do a tune up also.

I'll be checking the spark plugs when I get back from vacation on Sunday, they shouldn't be too bad tho because I just replaced them a few months ago.

Also, I just got done with the fuel filter, took it off cleaned it out and blew it dry with my air compressor. Put it back on and took it for about a 10 min drive around my neighborhood, it was perfect up until the last stretch it started doing it again.

LOL, you do not clean fuel filters, you replace them.

Checking the color of the spark plugs can give you an indication of what may be wrong... http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/tech_su...qs/faqread.asp 94

I know lol but I'm broke at the moment, I'll be replacing it when I get back on Sunday, also going to check the spark plugs. If still nothing then I'll start looking into the timing.
