help with 90 integra
I put first gen b16 in my 90 integra, then changed to OBD-1, ecu is throwing a code called electrical overload, now the charging system isnt working, changed altenator, checked for broken wires, and bad fuses, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
What actual code? Like code 20 (ELD)? If so that's a common one, doesn't actually do/mean anything. There's a lot of posts on G2IC, and here, about that.
If you're really worried, search for it (start at G2IC first). You'll see it's nothing to worry about. And as long as you aren't throwing any other codes, the CEL won't come on with just a code 20.
Mine had it from day one of the swap, and that was over a 1 1/2 years ago. It's "still there" if I jump the connector to flash the codes, but otherwise my CEL never comes on for it.
And yes, I know you mention the charging system issue. Sounds like something that is unrelated, and rather a wiring issue that was done incorrectly. I say that only because with this code 20, everything can be wired up fine and you'll still through the code.

No, def not code 11. That doesn't exist.
Try again.
*Since you're running OBD1, check this link from G2IC

or you can use this link, for 92-95 civics (basically the same thing).
