I just did a head swap on my car and now it isn't holding an idle and it wants to die and if i let off the gas it dies. It is throwing a 14 but i have checked the iacv and i was wondering if you had any other ideas.

Check that the holes in the TB before the throttle plate are drawing air for the idle screw, IACV, and FITV (if equipped). Have you set the timing and base idle?

 

no it wont idle my freind told me that since they r biger cams i need to adjust the idle screw and the dizzy

 

And get it tuned

 

it drives but i just drove it home and now it won't start back up, before i turned it off it was able to pass like 1200 rpm, my header and down pipe were hot as hell, (glowing-ish)
