Default help!!!!!

so i bought a new shift **** for my car.

i remove the old one (wanst OEM it was a EF ****)

so anyways, i removed that piece only to find that the threads

were filled with what i believe is loctite.

with that i cant put my new **** on.

does anyone know how i can remove that **** from my threads?

easy way is acid-tone get from homedepo cover the area with plastic wrap from your kitchen and soke a sponge in the aci-tone ware plastic gloves and hold the spong on it for rufly 5 mins will soften it up so yo can jst whipe it off

Rotary wire wheel can clean the threads. A Dremel will work.
