okay my girlfriend's car is a 94 LS AUTO. Once in a while when you press on the brakes the volume goes up or down. Has anybody had this problem before? and does anybody know how to fix it?

IT CAME WITH AFTERMARKET CD PLAYER WHEN SHE BOUGHT IT.

First possibility would be that she has an old battery in the car. Very possible!

Second possibility would be that there might be wire caps on the ends of some factory wires behind the CD player unit that were supposed to be covered or capped when the CD player install took place, and the tape or caps fell off of the ends of the wires.
