Default HELP!!!!!!

A hose on the throttle snapped off the connector ON the throttle body. how badly did we just expletive up? can we drive it till we pick up a new one???? any ideas on repair? WHAT did we break???

more detail of ur problem and not sounding like ur talking to urself would help...from the pictures it looks like ur showing a hose up to a perfectly fine throttle body...is that a buddies throttle body and ur just showing us what u broke...more explanation before u start posting on HT

and it looks like ur missing a bolt on that throttle body...u might want to bolt that down or u could get some nasty vacuum leak

that was as we were taking it off. the hose was to be disconnected and doing so snapped something off, like a plug. my question is is WHAT is that hose for, and can I drive on it till I get it fixed? not missing any bolts. and btw, I actually asked some very distinct questions that you failed to answer.

i understood exactly what u said but unfortunately i do not kno what those hose do, they are for vacuum, but to what specifically, i dont kno

just to guess tho, i would say u would have a leak if u drove it like that and maybe bad idle. but u might need a new throttle body????? idk
good luck tho hope u get it fixed.

Well what's at the other end of the vacuum line map sensor? I'm geussing that's an obd1 throttle body?

actualy its obd0 i figured its a vacume tube to control the idle controle valve being that it cant idle that is untill the ecu catches it and throwsa check engine light then it idles for a bout 30 seconds
