i own a 1990 integra it has forged pistons and rods, turbo cams, intake header exhaust ect. it is making a clicking noise i think it is coming from the top of the motor. i had the valves adjusted, changed the valve cover gasket, changed the spark plugs and wires, changed the oil( there were no metal shavings), it is still clicking. what could it be?

yes i have crower valve springs and retainers.

 

how loud is the clicking and how does the engine run? it could be just the injectors making the clicking noise.

 

the clicking is kinda loud but not really loud. its just noticably loud. the motr runs great, there is good power all the way to redline its just that damn noise.

P.S. there is also some smoke coming from the intake side of the engine. could that be from a leaking fuel injector?
