Headlight aiming...clockwise=up or down??
I found out the to aim the driver's side lowbeam headlight up, you have to turn the screwdriver clockwise. Is this the same for the passenger side? It seems like you would have to spin the gear the opposite way on the other side.....
Counterclockwise is down I belive, just check the level, if the bubble is going towards the cabin the headlights are getting higher...

It's not as easy as it looks, you can spin the little "gear wheel" forever, and the lighy won't seem to move at all...it takes a while to do, and I don't want to spend 10 min. turning the thing one way, and then find out I was spinning it the wrong way the whole time...
i agree. i always remind myself to remember which way does what..but i always forget.
i too would like to know if Clockwise = Up or down... and is that on both sides?
Also, for horizontal movement, is Clockwise Left or Right... and is that on both sides?
shoot, you can even wonder if it's the same for JDM headlights..or are they reversed?

If it's off by a whole lot. You might need to take out the headlight assembly and bent the tab. It's a pain in the ***. You have to take out the whole bumper cover off to do that. Good luck.

Sweet, clockwise is up on both sides....let the games begin. And by the way, if the bubble moves towards the cabin, your beam is going down...

when my headlights are level(bubble in middle on 0) the headlights still seem to be pointing down!! when i adjust my headlights, a week later and they need adjusting again!! does anyone else have this problem??
Helms for GSR:
Distance from a white screen (use a flat wall in your garage or mock up a wall using a white sheet hanging from a string stretched across, use weights/bricks at the bottom of the sheet to anchor the sheet and flatten the target surface) from headlamp to screen: 9 ft. 10 in.
Distance from headlamp to ground: 23 in. (I could be mistaken... I'm going by memory)
Note: If your car's lowered 2 inches then subtract this difference from the OEM height spec. Thus, 23 - 2 = 21 inches.
It should look like this on the screen: ____,----~=____,----~==
If you start lighting up street signs then your headlights are TOO HIGH! Lower it a little by an inch and work from there. Your driver's side headlamp has more to do with this.
