Default Headers Welding Question

Hey guys, its been a month nearly, my mugen headers are leaking from where the 4-2 connect, bottom portion, and i cant find the part, today i email both password jdm and megan racing headers, If they dont have them, i was thinking why not just weld it and it'll pretty much just be a 1 piece header, you think thats a good idea or no ? will there still be performance loss ? or back to normal

Mugen manufactured a two-piece header for the Integra? For what year is it? Can the gasket be replaced?

IN that case, Megan should have the gasket. To the OP, do not weld it.

you could always go pick up a tube of that gasket maker stuff..

That'd be WAY better than welding it, and it should seal pretty well.

you take off the original gasket, and apply it to the flanges.

its a gooey type of thing...
It just acts as a regular gasket.. I've used it a couple times in the past for exhaust gaskets and what not...

You can also take it to the local auto parts. Other two-piece exhaust manifolds may have the same gasket.
