i have a 90 ls with a b18b in it i was wondering if anyone had the torque sequence as well as how much pounds of torque i put on the bolts. thanks a lot.

 

do you have a helms manual...not sure but i think it says it in there?

 

start in the middle, work your way out. dont go all the way out to one side, then all the way out to the other, work your way out to both sides evenly. torque spec is 23lb/ft.

I'm looking at the Helms right now. It doesn't list it for the center bolts, but the outer two nuts are supposed to be torqued to 23ft-lbs as 3.504 said.

I'd just do as he said and tighten them in a sequence from the middle outward at 23ft-lbs as well.
