i have an ls engine and my buddy has a b16 4-1 header, is it a good idea to put it on, or will the header restrict the motor. ( this is what i have heard so i am just trying to find out) thanks.

no, it will not restrict your motor. just make sure that its the right length to fit up to your cat

He is sure, it will bolt up exactly the same for all B-series motor, you run into problems with the length of the runners/collector. Just modify your exhaust, test pipe, or cat in order to fit it properly.

yeah i know it will fit up, but someone told me that the exhaust ports might not match up to the b16 header perfectly (like a couple of millimeters off) in which not getting the full effect of the header and restrict the motor. Im just not sure if this is true or not.

I never heard that before, my assumption is that all of the B-series exhaust ports are the same measurements. You could measure both and find out, or call the company that makes the header to make sure.
