header problem on 95 integra

Default header problem on 95 integra

well about 3 weeks ago i installed some i think their hp racing headers got them from nopi.com and in like in the 2 week it was sounding horrible and the paint started chipping off but it said they were ceramic. well i dont really know was the noise . what should i check? or the the headers garbage? please help.

i think the first thing your got to check if your have a exhaust manifold gasket leak but that could be the problem on why it make so much noise cuz it shouldnt be that loud

Ummmmm...no.
Check where the header attaches to the cat. In order to have some idea of what's wrong with your car you need to actually look under it and check the exhause yourself. Good luck!

yeah that also where u should check next if your exhaust manifold gasket isnt leaking and on my first posted note i meant to say exhaust manifold gasket and not your head gasket cuz that would be a completely different problem if it was your head gasket... (and u made me read what i put down on my post again cuz i wonder why someone said noo to what i said but good catch)

ill check that in the morning thanks you two i really appreciate it. i was thinking of buying some new headers because to be honest i dont trust the ones i have. but theirs one problem i cant make up my mind which ones should i buy. i was thinking about DC sport but what do you guys think?

$5 says your where it bolts to the cat the two bolts got loose! that is common with ebay headers for the paint to come off thats why there so cheap price wise, dc is a well known brand and will make power dyno proven and you can find used ones for dirt cheap these days or you would also be good with a hytec tri y replica they make good power!

you know wat your right its the two bolts connected to the cat. they got loose but im goin to ditch them for the DC. thanx man i owe you.
