Default Header Install

I know, I know, this is a dead beaten topic. I searched and I found some very good information. But since I'm so paranoid about my car, I want to make sure I do things right. So... yeah I have the urge to install my DC 4-1 header tonight. Could someone please provide me with the torque specs on the bolts and what not? Also, I'm very concerned about the O2 sensor, how do I make sure I don't mess it up? Also, I read that on a GS-R, it isn't in the factory header, so I don't have to worry about it... is that true? Any help on anything regarding intalling a header is greatly appreciated.

I went ahead with the header install with help from a friend. We both didn't have much of a clue as to what we were doing, but we knew which bolts were coming out and what to do. Things went alright for a while. We deatched the lower end of the stock header fine, and yes I noticed that the O2 sensor was in the cat, not the header. With the heat shield off, we took off the top bolts making sure not to strip any of the bolts. With a little tweaking, the stock one came out not too bad. Then the tough part... putting the new one in. With the slightly different design, the DC was a tough fit. We were forced to unbolt the little rubber thing just below the vin number on the block to the left of the header (anyone know what that is?). Finally we were able to force the DC unit up there. We tightened down the bolts on top and then the bottom with a little hassle. Our biggest problem was that little thing that we unbolted. The rubber boot covering it came off exposing metal underneath that wasn't exposed before. After an hour or so, we were able to finally get the rubber back on to where I thought it was how it used to be. Anyone know what this is? If i didn't any damage doing this? Other than that everything seems fine. After taking it around on normal driving, I opened her up. I feel smoother acceleration, and maybe a little bit bigger kick on the high end. Not quite sure how it compares to stock. Gonna have to run against my friend's stock GSR to see what's what.
