i would say 2 piece would probably be easier to install unless you have the spce in your engine bay.

4-1, 1 piece, always the way to go for gains.

a lot of people told me to get 4-2-1 to help increase the torque curve and to get better mid-range hp

Apparently, you have never installed a header before.

I would suggest a Comptech 4-2-1 header -- best bang for the buck (as far as headers go), imho.

A few 4-1 headers will give a few more hp, but it is only for a very narrow portion of the rpm range that the gains will be higher. Remember the total area under the torque (or hp) curve is what counts -- and the Comptech will deliver the most until you step up into the Hytech-priced region.

This depends upon the flow capabilities of the head, as well as how high you intend to rev. For a relatively stock LS, the Comptech is a very good choice.

ask len, one of our sponsors, from baranco acura. He hooked me up with a good price. You might be able to find a used one for a good price. I wish they still made the mig headers instead of only tig headers. They were about $100 cheaper.

I agree. I was all set to get Comptech's MIG version, but they discontinued it. However, I have the TIG version and am very happy with the product.
