header differences
What is the difference between a header for a 90-91 teg and a 92-93 teg? I bought a header for a 92 teg I was going to put a ls/vtec in then decided to put an H22 in. Then I bought a 90 4 door teg and I want to put the header on it. Can I put it on? Do I have to alter anything?
If it is a B-Series header than it should be universal for any B-Series. The only thing that might not line up is the collector to the cat and you *may* have to notch your crossmember. I'm not 100% percent sure so if someone else can chime in that would be great.
Okay, I was just in http://www.g2ic.com searching their forums and I see that the manifolds are different lengths as well as the pipes. Also the o2 sensors are in different locations. I will check the differences in crossmember clearances. The 90 is outside. The 92 is at somebodies shop getting a facelift. I am hoping I can relocate the o2 sensor and either lengthen or shorten the stock exhaust after the cat. I have the Pacesetter(coated) header for the 92.
If antone has done this or knows someone who did, please tell me what was done.
Thanks!
