Default Header question ???

I have an 97 integra 4dr auto with like intake 2.5 exhaust **** like that, its my daily driver. If i put on a 4-2-1 header and full 2.5 inch piping without the resonator with a hi flow cat what will that do ???? I ve read many posts and many people argue that it wont do jackshit just make ur car loud as **** while other say ull gain more torque more horsepower **** like that. So lets put an end to this confusion... im wondering .... Anyone ?

you may notice some power, but if you want the best health for your engine, you should pick up an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and get somebody knowledgeable nearby to help you get it adjusted right. adjusted improperly it will only harm your engine more than running a big exhaust without one, or waste fuel and eventually cause you to burn oil, but adjusted properly, you'll see much greater gains than from the larger exhaust without it. maybe +2whp for the exhaust, but then you may see as much as 5 more after the fuel pressure regulator. just W.A.G. numbers there, but just to show that FPR + exhaust makes a lot more than just exhaust. actual numbers depend a lot on the engine and the condition of the engine.
