ok i bought this 95 gsr and know that i have owned it for a month i felt that the hood was really hot so i poped the hood and valve cover and header were burning hot!!!! and know i only crank it and like 5 min later the vlave cover is hot again? what could it be?

last time I checked the engine works with little explosion
in a sealed chamber therefore creating heat so that is
normal.
are your gages telling you the car is overheating?

 

no it was overheating a week before but it was a radiator problem which is fixed now ,the radiator by where the cap sits had a hole but i put some of that special clay that seals those holes and fixed. but guages dont say anything.

 

it's just normally hot under integra hoods. End of story. Mine gets so hot, that once the engine is warm, I'll burn my hand getting the hood prop up. It's normal. Don't worry about it. The gauge will tell you if you're getting hot or not.
