I got a 98 integ, its been raining recently and i noticed some moisture in both head lights on the driver side....how do i fix that? do i have to replace the seals? anyone got any sudgestions?
This has happened to me before, too.
There is no need to take out the headlights, especially since that is such a big job (have to take off the bumper cover, etc.).
Just take out both bulbs and use a blow dryer (it helps to have one of those small, travel-size dryers) to dry out the inside of the headlight assembly. Since both "chambers" (i.e. high and low beam) are joined, you just stick the blow dryer in front of one of the holes and pretty much leave it there until it's dry inside. The warm air will flow in on the one side and back out the other, carrying the moisture with it.
There are some words of caution, though. If you use too hot of a setting or leave it resting against the plastic/rubber seal for too long, you can melt part of your headlight housing. So, use your own discretion, but it can be done easily with this method.
Good luck with the fix.
