Default having temperature issues with the teg

i noticed that even after letting my car completely warm up, once i start driving, the temp gauge goes all the way back down below c. once i stop again and let it sits, it goes back to normal operating temp. anyone have any ideas would help me out alot. thanks

You have a bad thermostat.

Thermostat... Not too bad replacing it; 30 minutes or less. I need to change mine too..

Thermostat, fairly quick fix, just use gear wrenches, because theres one bolt there with very limited room. You could be there for days without em'!

I loosened the starter and used swivel sockets to get at the thermostat housing bolts. OP, if you do not have a manual get one. You will need to drain and refill the coolant.

I'm pretty sure on that because nothing really gets much smaller than 10mm, well at least on the motor.

thank you for all the help in such a short amount of time. luckily the car isnt overheating from the thermostat, i'll make sure to try to get that replaced and also to buy the manual. thanks alot guys
