2nd gen, also known as a DA is a nice car. My next integra will probably be a 92 gsr (if I can find one). Good luck with the car man, and welcome to honda-tech.

What year is the integra you are looking at? If you are wanting to put a vtec head on then I am guessing it must have a b18a or b18b engine in it. If this is right, then do a search for ls/vtec and you will find all the info you need about doing the conversion.

Not sure what your final numbers will be from swaping that head but that would seem to be about right. There are other expenses to consider in that swap though, such as the cost of a new ECU and a few other items that actuate the VTEC.

The GL is similiar to the LS i'm guessing as it doesnt have a R or anything in it, so assuming its not the 4door or something it might be a 2door LS which isnt all that bad, not sure about your plans for upgrading but you can make them decently quick for a daily driver with simple bolt ons. Wouldnt be like a 160hp, but decent power for having fun with.
