when i turn it over its like it has a miss fire and it sounds like a sti then 3 sec later it runs fine and it only does it when i let it sit for about 2 or 3 hours and the longer i let it sit the worse and harder it is to start

 

Do a compression test and leak down...Does the car over heat? any white smoke coming out the tail pipe? Does it burn water/antifrez? might have a crack on a cylinder or might have a blown head gasket...

 

thats what i thought so i took it to my smog guy and he snifed it no blown headgasket or block but now i think the oil pump is starting to go bad the oil light comes on 30 min of driving and im already running 20 50 so think gona buy b20

 

cuzz i thought it be the dizzy it and i hooked it up to a car that hasent run in 6 years and fired right up no problem

 

i was having this same problem with my 90 zc swapped crx, it ended up getting to a point where it doesnt start at all, new dizzy, main relay, fuel filter, no blown fuses, fuel pump seems to be fine, hopefully its nothing too serious with mine or yours.
