of course cops are doign their job when catching criminals. but then there are d*cks out there. i got stopped in my jeep for my tires sticking out 1" (literally 1", i measured it).

Now because of all the idiots out there everytime I roll by a cop he stares me down like I am doing something wrong, then pulls a U-turn and follows me until I do something wrong (jealousy or just plain hatred does it) but usually it is the guys in the ricer cars that do stupid ****. Im glad you got busted, what do you expect when you roll a STOP sign, there is a reason it says stop on it.

I went sleeper pretty much on my car except its dumped the ground (black c8's), rs series wing (type r look), 98 front and a pretty quiet exhaust because of the turbo.....and they are still all over me whenever I drive near them. I think they are haters but in some way I don't blame them.....because idiots like the person who started this post cause it.

Yeah GDD would probably be better. I am sure he is implying that because he has a teg he was pulled over. I can't say that I am a cop hater, however I do admit that I have been harassed by a lot of cops. Even though I am very polite they took advantage and completely disrespected me.

 

I can understand why yall seem to hate cops so much, but then again, aren't they only doing there job? (Don't shoot the messenger) Cops aren't bad people, I mean sure there are a few dicks, but the majority are just normal people just trying to do their job to the best of their ability. Also, do you know how many cars cops could actually pull over daily that are doing something illegal...exactly they wouldn't ever go home. So instead of "hating" on them, how bout show them a little respect because they do put their life on the line for all of us, each and everyday.

Police are there to protect and serve I respect cops and what dangers they go thro on a day to day basis but when they start waiting around the corner from the highschool i attent for lunch to get and and start pulling people over for window tint and not being parked 16" away from the curb its just rediculous, how do they expect us to react to that ofcoursr were going to hate them. Dont get me wrong there are plenty cool cops out there but the bad ones and crooked ones **** it up for them all !

 

running from a cop and getting away? that sounds sorta BS to me. only time ive seen someone run from a cop and get away was if you ditch your car and run into a neighborhood @ night. thats w/ cameras and helicopters everywere too. you sure u out ran a supercharged caprice?

 

No one should ever say they hate cops. I have several friends that are Officers and they are the coolest people I have ever met. I would try out for it but I don't have the ***** to put my life on the line for any amount of money. Running from the cops is definitely not cool. I have been profiled and taken it to court an won my case. Every time I was pulled over wrongfully I took the case to court.. I won only 25% of the cases but after a while the locals knew that if I was going to be pulled over it better be for a real reason. Let's not forget that cops are just like you and I, and they are not superhuman. So when they are doing there job I am sure they have seen some kid in a Integra showing off and almost or kill some innocent family going to dinner, which would cause them to naturally look at young folks a little differently. It's human nature.. Just expect to have some issues when you drive any hooked up ride because it will eventually happen.

I disagree man. First of all, they are cool because they are your friends and you know them. That's different. Not that non of them are cool, but the ANNOYING ones that pull you over for tint, exhaust, crap like that, i'll have to say I HATE THEM. There's no way you can tell me these are cool, yah they are doing their jobs. IMO, go pull over people speeding or almost killing other people but not stupid **** that wont hurt ANYONE like tint, exhaust, parking 2 inches away from the curb.

its their job man. Is wasting 3-5 seconds at a stop sign worth getting pulled over and having to deal with the cops and court fine. If your _lucky_ you might get a warning but that is very rare. The first ticket that i got.. a speeding ticket was crappy as hell and after that ticket i started to obey the law a lot more and drive more responsibly. And getting pulled over for expired tags..that is all your fault man dont hate cops because you failed on your part to obey the law... its their job man. And running from the cops is just the most idiotic thing... unless it was at some street races and cops come and you run.. thats a different story because theres like a bajillion cars running from the cops. You dont want to be in jail for running froma cop.. maybe he stopped you because of a different reason , or maybe just to warn you. Court fee is 100$ here + your fine, so no matter what ticket you get u pay 100 bucks for court fee.... Makes me work a few more days to get that lost moneyback.. and all i coudl of done was go the speed limit and get to my destination maybe a minute later... not worth those damn hours you work for

I got clocked for a speeding ticket while I was merging to another lane... now how BS is that!

I guess I wouldn't be that pissed off but there was this taurus that was just tearing things up infront of me.. cutting cars left and right and speeding yet me with slowass car with its bodykit and spoiler got the hit. =[

THEY ARE TRAFFIC COPS. ALL THEY DO IS ENFORCE TRAFFIC LAWS AND RESPOND TO EMERGENCIES.

all they are responsible for in the 'real crimes' as you call them is picking up offenders, roping off the area, and maybe collecting a little evidence, but not usually. the detectives and higher ranking officers deal with the murders and assualts and robberies and ****

all a traffic cop does, is enforce traffic laws and vehicle code. if the vehicle code says no tint on your front window....dont TINT YOUR ******* WINDOW, and if a cop walks up to it a little pissed off, its because you basically said **** off to him, cause for some reason the law that applies to everyone else does not apply to you, well newsflash, it does, and i hope you get a ticket...or if you dont care, then whatever, pay your fine.

and STOP means STOP...its red for a reason...its not a yellow roll sign..although i wish there were some of those sometimes...but just stop
