has anyone with a DA swapped out their powersteering rack and pinion for one with out powersteering? if so what rack did you use? and did you have to modify anything?

 

can i ask why you would not just take off the belt if you do not want power steering?

but im not sure if any racks would work, maybe an ef rack?

i already removed the pump the powersteering cooler and the resivoir. instead of putting a little clutch resivoir in its place i want it to look all clean like factory if i could. do you know if any DA integras came factory w/o powersteering.

 

no da's came without powersteering. if u took off the pump wuts the point of changing the rack

I'm not sure what the circumstances are but if you run a power steering rack without the pump running, it will eventually damage the rack. Op, is that why you want to change it out?

 

i want to know if there are any DA integras that came from the factory w/o powersteering like in the cx hatchbacks. because mine is leaking and i have the motor pulled so now would be a good time to do it with the most room.

 

i dont even have power sterring lol wanna trade j.k but naw
