well i just put in a pair of halos in my 94 tegg my problem is that i cant cant get any of the four rings to light up, i dont have any isntructions. there is a red and a white wyre for each halo, is there any specific way to hook these up?

naw i dont have a camera, but the unit looks like the old one everything plugs up the same it just has separate wires for the rings to turn on, each ring has a white wire and a red one and theres 4 rings i dont think that all the rings are bad, is there a specific to make them work or do u guys think that all 4 rings are bad?

 

did you try splicing those wires to the pos/neg wires?

 

i think the halo part is supposed to light up when you have your parking lights on right? if that is the case..wire them to the parking lights..but make sure you dont wire it to the blinker on the parking lights or you will have blinking halos lol. Just extend the wires and cut and splice everything together

 

maybe you should hook them up to your blinker lights. a different use for them halos. that would look kinda fresh when you throw on your blinkers/hazards. blinking halos... gyeah!

i bought them in the streets and right now theyre not hooked up cus wen i sliced the wire and hooked them up to the battery they didnt light up, anyone else has an advice?

So did you test each halo to see if they would work ? If not it sounds like a bad buy. Red 12 volts. White negitive. Try that.

 

maybe thay wont lite up because there from the streets and probly stolen u really shouldent by stolen stuff form the streets

 

hook them up to the parking lights red pos and white neg and if it doesn't work you got a bad pair but you can buy new ones online or at a tuner shop

 

maybe since they're a street pair... maybe the person you bought it from installed them halos with the intention of them not ever working. and the wires are just there to convince you that they're a legit pair. i hope you got a street receipt. j/k kick that fool's ***!
