Hey does the auto and manual tranny half shafts on integras vary? What's the difference?

one is male one is female. I don't remember offhand which is which.

i matched mine up and they where identical. i just used the manual one anyways but the looked exactly the same

^^Yeah, same. I matched mine up and couldn't really tell any difference but ended up using the manual one anyway just in case.

Oh well. They had different part numbers and I had one listed on ebay for sale and didn't want to sell someone a halfshaft that was actually for an automatic if I had it listed as one for a manual. I canceled the bids and started a new auction and sold it for less. Bummer! But from what I read on h-t & t-i everyone said that they look very similar but will not work when you try to use it on a manual. Maybe somebody who has tried to use an automatic half-shaft on a manual can clarify.

well i know Automatic axles are a lilttle bit diffferent. sO i'm assuming the Halfshaft is just slitghly different too. But Yeah They look identical.

the auto and man r diffrent the auto one will not bolt to the back of the block when the tranny is bolted to the motor . the angle is off a bout a 1/4 in. the bolt spacing doesnt line up correctly. i just ran into this issue last week.
