Default is this guy right?

Alright, I was curious as to how exactly a turbo worked... and found this link. Don't get me wrong, this is a really in depth write up and has great information. But, is this guy full of crap? (he says some parts aren't needed from a kit and crosses them out, is this correct?)

Please, next time, a simple search can answer alot of questions you might have since your new to turbocharging cars and what not. If you want to know about turbochargers, get this book. It might be getting sorta dated now, but it still has a great amount of information, and is a good starter, if your really serious about turbocharging your car.

maybe I should have re-phrased that post... I'm not asking people how a turbo works... I'm asking if this guys write up is trust-worthy or not. sorry for the confusion.

yea i dont think the other guy got your question correctly, but from looking at his write up, and pictures it seems like it would would, but was that a turbo kit for another car, and he just showed how to adjust it to fit the integra?

I don't think so... he was just explaining how it works, is put together, etc... is it a hard project to do on your own? (I have a couple of friends that are pretty engine savy) and then obviously get tuned.

no its not that difficult, depending on how you go about it, now doing a hmt setup is gonna take some "know how" because your doing alot of custom fab's, but if its a bolt on, model specefic its pretty easy to do, all you need is the right tools, and some time. and ofcourse, the tune completes it

Some kits are a beter deal that putting one together one peice at a time. Saves some hassle matching right components. Any way you go SAVE your money and then buy what you need all at once. You may change your mind on your set up.
