hey guys, i have a problem w/ my stock gsr guage cluster. Well.. they don't work, temp, tach, speedo, gas, odo, are dead. Everything lights, plugs are tight.. Heres another thing, along w/ those guages being dead, theres certain lights that are out. My ebrake light doesn't come on, gas light, maint light, hatch light etc. My blinker lights, high beam light all work. Im really stumped. Fuses are fine .. Im going insane, anyone have any ideas?? I bought a small cheezy tach and hooked it to the tach signal wire for now, so i have SOME idea how fast im going, and that works. So its not the signal.

hmmmm i would remove the cluster to check to see if the plug with all the wires on the back of it came loose.

 

might be the vechicle speed senor(vss)...having same problem with my sister's accord. the funny thing was it was working for like a while today after like 1 week of it not working. after turning off the car, it doesnt work no more. i cant figure out wat the hech is going on

 

yea i checked all the plugs . if it was the vss wouldn't my gas and temp guages work

also another wierd thing is my rear defrost doesn't work either.. these all must tie in somewhere.... ugh, why..

 

Electrical problem.

BTW, I have an extra GSR gauge cluster if you need one.

 

Check to make sure that everything is grounded correctly.

 

check all your GROUNDS.... make sure your car is getting enough ground power. check the ground from your tranny, i believe there are 4 ground wires.. some one correct me if im wrong.
