GSR vtec pull
I can honestly say that if vtec was not audible on a GSR, then you would never know when it kicked in. It just pulls all the way to 7600. No surge, no spike, nothing. Just a straight line til 7600 and then it starts to die.
when my vtec engages there is no sudden kick but the car pulls way harder and revs faster above 4400rpm, you can definetly feel it at WOT but its not a kick, then when the secondaries open there is more of a kick but nothing back breaking and the tires certainly dont break loose.
BTW has anyone ever dyno'd a GSR/Si when cold to above 4500rpm and then when the engine is warm to see what actuall power gain the vtec gives at the vtec engagement point???

It seems like NO ONE remembers what the GS-R VTEC engagement felt like when it was stock. I remember it..... could BARELY hear it engage and was very weak. We folks with cams need to keep it real.
well my toda cams, springs, retainers and cam gears will be on they're way shortly.. i guess ill just feel what the JDM GS_R's vtec feels like before i put the cams in BTW, im on my freinds name, THis is JDMCHRIS
