ok its not my car im helpin out a friend.. he was racing and wsa at 8200 and mis shifted from 3rd to 2nd bent all of his exaust valves and broke to vavle guides. bought another head i swapped it in changed out all the gaskets torqued everything down used arp head studs. he called me up the other night and said now its throwing code for "cylinder 1 misfire" and and another misfire not surewhat the code was he also said his car seems to be burning alot of gas.. sorry for the run on sentence can you guys please give me some opinions whats wrong

well just to let you know, when you get two misfire codes it prolly is bent valves. that is exactly what happened to mine. compression test is necessary

yea i had just bought a new compression tester and used it on my friends prelude and it had alot of uses and the cylinder was full off oil and the pressure killed the gauge...
