I am looking to get a Gen 3 GSR and I was wanting to supercharge it. I don't know that much about superchargers I have mainly worked with turbo's but when you build and engine for a supercharger is it just like turbo build it and lower the compression or build it and have higher compression.

 

build it up the same as you would a turbo setup

 

Boost is boost. The car wouldn't know wether the boost is from a SC or turbo. If you plan to keep the stock pulley on the blower you could get by with more compression properly tuned than someone pushing 10+lbs w/ a turbo setup all else being equal.
