me and my friend have been goin back and forth about this for a couple of days now...were gsr's ever offered in purple? i never thought they did. ive seen the deep blue metallic that they come in, if was in the rite light it could look purple. someone please settle this. the acura dealer isnt open rite now or else id ask....

i have not seen one in person, but according to this chart, there is Dark Violet Pearl in 2000 on the 2 door gsr.

 

well, i guess im wrong now. HA. but just for 2000? the only difference in the 94-97 and 98-01's are the head lights rite? i have a 94, and the heads looked the same. and the way the sun was just barely behind the hills, it coulda been either. but oh well. dvp looks pretty sweet

there are MANY slight differences btw model yrs 94-97 and 98-01's and who knows why they just did that color on one yr and only on the 2dr gsr

 

duh, i shoulda said that. im tired and not thinkin. i still think its kinda wierd seein a teg in purple. altho it does look bad. can you buy the hatch lever mechanism for 94-97's? bolt on?

...and theres little indentations in the hatch on my ls where say a gsr's spoiler would go...are these the holes that i should drill out? i have a gsr spoiler that im mountin here soon and i want to kno if these are the rite holes...

In '94 there is a color called Stealth Grey Pearl that looks purple in the right light. I think KBB has an old picture from the manufacturers booklet.

it's a sweet color, only ever seen 2 other than mine.

 

girlfriend's father has one, its a sweet *** color

 

Purple that I've seen are 94, 97 4dr sedan GSR and of course the newer 00-01 coupes.
