GSR codes? Need help!
First off, my 96 GSR wont rev past 3500rpms... Check engine light is on and these are all the codes I got...
P0335--Crank shaft position sensor A Circuit malfunction
P0336--Crank shaft position sensor A CKT range/performance
P1337--CSF SENSOR NO SIGNAL--DONT KNOW WHAT CSF IS?
P0453--EVAP emission control system pres sensor high
P0450--EVAP emission control system pres sensor fault
Dont understand these codes to much and was wondering if someone could translate it to english for me.

- more than likey you have a short to ground. or your sensor has gone bad.
Does your CEL flash when? if it does how many times does it flash, cause the number of times it flashes and the stops mean different thing with these codes.
P1337--CSF SENSOR NO SIGNAL--DONT KNOW WHAT CSF IS?= usually the 1337 codes are manufacture specific codes. I am trying to see if I have everseen this code at work before.
P0453--EVAP emission control system pres sensor high
P0450--EVAP emission control system pres sensor fault
And I will check our Honda diagnostic computer and let you know about the other two havent reallseen them b4.

Code 1337 is the CKF (crankshaft speed fluctuation) sensor. Your 1996 may still be under warranty. Check out this thread:

I am not some ricer kid who doesn't know what he's doing. I am not driving the car nor do i plan to until I can pin-point a problem myself instead of over paying some dumb mechanic in my area who doesn't even know what V-TEC is. When I cant find the problem myself, then I will bend over and take it, then go to the Acura dealership!
dude all i know is that i get a stupid code 43 every now and then. i know its fuel delivery system, but its so random i just cant figure it out.
The distributor I got was purchased rebuilt when I bought the car not to long ago, I am wondering if thats part of my problem?

The crankshaft position sensor problem may be caused by your dizzy.. you will need a helms manual to diagnose that though.. I'd say start by resetting your ECM
Do like dogginator said and get a honda hookup manual

well your crankshaft position sensor i believe is in you Dizzy and evap is emissions go to autozone and buy a manual for 20 bucks i have a book and ill try to look it up for you more

Nope Wrong. your Crank position sensor is under your timing belt cover on the bottom of your crankshaft. you can tell that there is something under there cause if you look at a OBD1 cover and a OBD 2 cover they are not interchangeable.
I have a spare crank sensor that I can spare for the cause so you can switch them out. I don't know if giving parts away to help a fellow honda lover out is illegal on here just let me know and I can send it to ya.

There is nothing wrong with that. However, i would encourage the OP to see if the car is covered by the extended emissions warranty. Let Acura fix it for free.

I'm Not sure whats going on here but Your crankshaft fluctuation sensor (CKF) is located by the timing belt
You Crankshaft postion sensor (CKP) Top dead center sensor (TDC) and Cylinder position sensor (CYP) are all located on the rotor shaft inside your distributor
2 of the 4 possible fixes for for the codes P0335 & P0336 are replace the distributor housing sensor

So it seems to me that I bought a defective distributor! Got it from ebay, now I am hisitating getting another from there. Thats what I am going to start with

Yes.
Yes.
Makes sense, will start with the distributor, then work my way up. I have a hose that runs out of my evap canister that I just notice thats pluged with a huge screw?
