There really is no difference, just options, such as leather, power options etc....
As far as performance, they are identical.

GS basically is fully loaded, while the LS might not be.

Performance wise they are identical, with only the GSR and ITR getting the performance upgrades.

Wouldn't pay much mind to GS or LS...shop for the teg with the features you want since I've seen a few LS integras as fully loaded as a GS would be.

I have a 97 Gs and it came with power everything/sunroof/leather/and the same color leather in the door panels as where the ls has fabric (i believe) and a spoiler(not sure if ls came with it or not.

Engine and drive train wise identical, leather interior and spoiler is standard for gs, most gs i've seen are like that, and ls has cloth seats and optional spoiler.

it has different size swaybars (front and rear from 94-99), along with the transmission/motor/ecu....and the gsr has a knock sensor while the gs does not.

I thought the tranny was different too Im so confused. Why do sometimes people say that you should swap in the "LS" 5th gear, and why do people go for the LSVtec swap, is it exactly like an RS or GS? Why do people call it this then?

I feel so noob right now

the suspension is the same. the gsr sway bars were only like a mm bigger 94-99, then they were the same.

yes, the gsr tranny is shorter, too. i've never heard of anyone swapping an ls 5th gear in a gsr tranny, but in b16 trannies. it's called an lsvtec because you'll sound retarded if you say rsvtec or gsvtec.

^^^

 Ok it makes sense now. An yeah, I was refering to people swapping the LS 5th gear into a b16 tranny. So you are saying the LS gearing is different?

rsvtak yo

edit: I assume people just say LS 5th gear as opposed to saying gs or rs aswell? Well thats kind of stupid, but oh well! I guess it makes sense!
