So I tired to lower my car w/ my buddy Kris the other day, and come to find out I'm missing the allen locks to hold the spring into place on three of my GC and my LF Ground Control is frozen, seized if you will!

I can move the key all around to the right, in circles, but when I try to loosen it, its hard as a stone! Wont budge My friend forgot to put anti seize on the allen bolts after he raised the car for alignment and header install.. friends dont let friends work on their car.. lol

So I email them the other day and they said they send me new allen keys I also inquired about a tool or key if you will to adjust the spring and not use my hands and they stated they will throw that in free as well... They also mention they might just half to send me a new spring, if I can't unfreeze it. Gotta love GC life time warranty!

Now my question is how do I unlock/un seize my GC so I can lower it the LF.. I tried PJ blaster(i think it's called) didn't work.. any suggestions?

 

if you can get another one thenm why worry? if all fails the handy dandy grinder is your best friend! LOL

 

Its frozen, so unfreeze it!!!

I would help you out more, but you need to give us more details or a picture or something. Or just go out there and beat the **** out of it untill it comes out.

 

well i dont see how a picture would help if its the nut that's frozen, I cant loosen it.. and to get the new spring i half to first lossen the frozen nut!! that's what I'm have troubling with...
