got slower =(
hey guys i have i/h/e on my auto ls teg, and when i put in pulleys the car got slower, cuz before i raced my friend and i hung with him and the check engine light wasnt on, but now he just pulls on me. plus the check engine light is on becuz im missing an o2 sensor. do u guys think it is because the o2 sensor is out that it got slower, or cuz of the pulleys? also i heard pulleys take about a week to break in, but that doesnt mean the car should get slower...thanx
well u need the os2 sensor so ur ecu can put in the rite fuel mixture..so if the mixture is not rite ur engine could be burning too little or too much gas which is not good and therefore less power..and about the pulley i have no clue...the enigine light is from the os2 sensor for sure :D

after the CEL came on, the car still feels "fast" but the speed seems like it got back to stock. so i can make that much of a difference?
fix your O2 sensor, and drive safe.

Let me know how your pulleys work out after you replace the o2 sensor. I was thinking of installing some AEM's.

i was about to get aem, but it doesnt come with the main crank pulley, get unorthodox, it comes will the full kit, and i think replacing the main crank will only make a noticable difference.
before u get pulleys, read this. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=332230
With no o2 sensor the car will run in "Limp mode" in otherwords like crap until you fix it.... Not all CEL's put you in "safe mode" but o2 sensors definatly do.
Are you doing all the bolts ons because you just want a few extra hp? or are you under the illusion that all of them together might net you likst 200whp or something? I'm not bashing, don't think I am I just want to understand if you think how I once thought, and if not, how do you think

i wanted to get the bolt ons cuz i jus wanted to hang with v6accords, and with i/h/e i hung with it on the freeway, but then again my gasket was off on the header, and i was running just off the header. i got it fixed today, and the car feels a lot slower, the throttle response isnt as great ne more. i also resetted the computer, and the CEL doesnt come out ne more, and i was wondering if it will still hang with av6...
Pulleys really don't do jack **** for a car, other than **** up your electrical system. You should have just spent $50 on a test pipe, you might actually gain some sort of performance. Even though it will be slight on a N/A car.
Well put it this way.... your car makes 100-115 MAX to the ground bone stock...
I have a friend with a 00 ls auto teg with headers, full exhaust (n1), advanced timing, intake..... and the best run they got out of that thing was a 16.5 I seriously doubt a v6 accord is that slow in the 1/4.
Not bashing your setup but I just want you to realize especially with automatic bolt ons REALLY aren't going to give you much power at all, I mean full i/h/c/e + advanced timing woiuld probably get you around 130whp mabye 140whp at best...
If you need more of a picture my car put down 170whp before tuning at 8psi of BOOST.... so bolt ons ain't gonna add any real power anywhere to pick on a bigger engine with more torque and hp then you.
If you really want some power and be able to eat those accords, turbo, supercharger (JRSC), or nitrous is the way to go. If you need any questions answered I'll be happy to try, just pm/email me.
Suprised all you haters didn't jump out on this guy owning a auto.... cept of course
but thats not as bad as it usually is

i have an aem intake,dc sports 4-1 header, dc sports catback exhaust and a level10 torque convertor and im running 15.8's not bad for an auto. Although here in about 2 months i will have my trannyswap, found a reputable shop that uses place racing tranny mounts so i cant wait, then it comes turbo time.
and if u question my car or need proof u can IM Vazquez911 he's a member here and knows my car.
but ya, get the o2 sensor fixed and u shuld be fine.
props for working with what u got btw.

Mugen CTR..why do you give Import Builders 3 stars, then 4.5 stars again in your sig?
Anyways, to the guy with the auto LS. I suggest you get that test pipe and get a direct port NX system. You'll see some real gains with that.
I know two guys that both own LS's. One guy has a 75 shot dry system, other guy has a DRAG III @ 7PSI. The turbo LS gets eaten by the NOS'd one everytime.
