Hello people, name's nick. Just bought my integra ls 1994 last week. Took me a very long time as i live in upstate new york and it's hard to find a clean chassis unmolested car.
274k miles shes got her issues. Bent valve, needs new motor mounts, rear wheel bearings, needs a new distributor. Got a new b18b head with 110k miles on it at the machine shop now. Prothane motor mounts on order and my rear wheel bearings should be delivered tomorrow restoring it to OEM BEFORE i do any real mods.
Final project will be boosted on a full race gt3076r setup daily driven rebuilt clean on some drag dr-9's with red recaros
Oh I plan on so much more than that! Fully rebuilt transmission with carbon synchros mfactory gears half rad lca's rear subframe brace coilovers, fully rebuilt engine. Eventually boosted, although i haven't fully commited to just buying a full race gt3076r turbo setup or piecing it together over time. People have already been trying to convince me to do the ls/vtec swap but im not interested in it yet. I'm replacing the OEM head on it now and going to use the old head to teach myself everything i need to know about head flow, valve jobs, springs, retainers, rocker arms, cam profiles etc... I want to restore this to new condition and better. Since I'm planning on keeping ALL of the interior i want 18kgf/mm front 12kgf/mm rear spring rates 16x7 drag dr-9's for the front 15x7 drag dr-9's on the rear. Reroute the brake lines wire tuck clean it ALL up. Im feeling all white paint with black wheels red accents (calipers, wheel lip edge, red recaro seats, maybe plasti dip some interior parts) i just had a son hes 7 weeks old now
The goal is to build the car as he grows so he can learn and have fun as a father/son project. Plus it teachs math, history, science, culture, discipline, respect, and most important hard work ethics.
Handling! Some of the best touge monsters run this setup for wheel combos. I'm looking for a street build capable of track racing. In a full weight car like im doing it will make for great handling with proper suspension
