Default Gas Gauge

The gas needle in the gauge moves fine, but after it reaches about 3/8 of a tank, it drains fairly quick. Also, when I pump gas and let it fill up automatically, there will be some gas that spills out. What could be wrong?

And usually when you put a liquid into a container, and it starts spilling out, that means it's full.

Well, I never had this issue with my civic. I just put the nozzle in and let it full up by itself and it would stop once it is full with nothing spilling out. But it spills on my integra.

Pretty much the same thing with both my EH's, my CD, and my DC.

So, is this a common issue with the DC?

Mine only does that when the tank is full. And more often than not, it doesn't do it; it's just certain gas stations where the pump doesn't shut off in time.

I am not trying to be rude or anything. But there is a very similar topic that is going around as we speak. This is not all against you, but lately it seems like 3-4 topics of the exact or similar topics are being braught up at the same time. It is frustrating me to no end.

But anyway; it seems like this is a common problem with most cars. Everycar I have owned has done this to some degree.

My LS does the same thing. I would consider it to be normal. Annoying, but normal.
