You'd possibly gain a hole in the hood when it explodes.

I'm assuming that it could possibly hydrolock your engine.. If it doesn't catch fire or sokme other crazy **** first. My filter got splashed with water by a passing truck and it hydrolocked mine.

What a stupid question

if you drench your filter in any liquid, its going to decrease the amount of air that it allows through....the car is going to bog, but i guess that's cool right?

You aren't going to see someone do it because it's an extremely bad idea, and there would be absolutely no benefit whatsoever.
