Function and Form Pre-load
Hey guys I finally installed my suspension. And I was driving and I feel like the cars springs are to soft.. My question is what's the perfect pre load to set on my springs.. Id like it to more stiff to were a lil bump or jump won't make my car go up and down..

Adjust the damping first. See if the car rides more firmly.
I'm assuming this is the full body style function form type 2. In which case...it's not difficult at all to adjust preload. Turn the spring perches up until it rides bad enough that you're satisfied. Then turn the shock into the bottom perch till the car is low enough again.
There's no "perfect preload". You're the one riding in it. I would assume you bought full body adjustable coil overs in order to adjust them fully.

...if you're doing this so the tires don't hit the fender, you might consider using a camber kit to make the tires and wheels clear the fenders.
Toe kills tires not camber any ways are these the type 1's afaik the type 2's never got made for the DC chassis. I'll have a set lying around still they're T1's I got last year I see no place to adjust damping @b-serious

Type2's are definitely made for the DC chassis. I bought a CTR swapped Civic to turn into a dirt track car...and it had F&F type 2's on it. They fit the DC/"EG" LCAs/chassis. I can't remember if the dude that bought them had an integra or civic. They came with the extra washers to use on "EK" LCAs. So...they would fit any 92-00 civic, DC integra...and maybe DA integra and EF as well.

Ok....are the spring heights adjustable independently of the shock? Basically....are there 2 sets of adjustment collars or just 1 set?
Also, my camber suggestion was to use enough camber to pull the tires into the fender. You have wide/low offset wheels that are going to keep hitting the fender unless you pull them in.
I had to use that method on my ITR and S2000 for handling and fender clearing. I was suggesting something like this:

Just enough to clear fenders so your wheels aren't sticking out. Or...crush your fenders via wheel/tire contact. Whichever sounds more appealing.
