PROBLEM
I have a set of F7 Lower Control Arms for my 90 Teg Coupe. Do any of you who have had a set, tell me if there is an adapter kit for the Stock anti-sway bar? I've sent an e-mail over to function 7 to hopefully get an answer, but its not promising, since they don't manufacture this part anymore.
If I force the bolt and stock bracket (which doesn't line up correctly) onto the F7 arm and mount it, will it cause undue stress on the arm causing it to break?
Or does someone know of any tricks like putting a different year anti sway bar (Stock)...as I cannot afford to put a newer after market sway bar in place...don't have the $$$. But easy stock fixes I'm sure I can manage.
SOLUTION:
DarkStarSinner, thanks.
Loosen the bracket that holds the sway bar.
Auto Zone and buy Grade 8 15/16, 18 thread about 2.5" screws, washers and nuts.
You will have to do a little forcing of the sway bar, but it will go in.
I used the stock washer in the back, added 1 smaller washer in between the arm and sway bar endlink and finally another washer at the other end.
Add a couple drops of thread lock and then lock it down with the nut.
Retighten the sway bar brackets and your done.
Thanks

Brice.
Thanks. Yup I've already removed the sway bar. If I cannot connect it, I can't very well leave it on there.
Sinner let me know to try and use endlinks. So I'm going to look into that option.
Brice, I hope to sometime during the summer to track the car...I'm just putting things together slowly.

That I wouldn't do. The car came factory with one for a reason. Definately check out the Endlinks. Although I have to say I don't understand why you are having problems. I may actualy head out to the shop and install my F7's just to see if I can figure out why you are having an issue. I have been saving my suspension setup for after I painted but I would hate for you to spend money you don't have too.

Thanks Sinner.
I would appreciate it. I went and bought some longer grade 8 bolts from AutoZone. I was going to try and install them and see what happens.

You shouldn't have to order them but they would help. Your sway bar is held to your sub-frame with two d-brackets. Loosen those up, and you should be able to tilt the sway bar down, or up, so you can adjust how it sits. Then loosen the factory endlinks and you can adjust the angle those sit. That should ease things up for you. I'll tell you what, if you need, PM me and I'll give you my number to help you out.

Doesn't matter if you track your car. We're not talking about a 24mm rear sway bar, we're talking about his stock 13mm or whatever it is sway bar. It makes a big difference, especially if your choices are new F7 LCA's or a rear sway bar, I'd go with the sway bar.
