Icon2 Front Strut Tower Bar Interchangeable

Hey HT'ers.

I'd like to buy a once piece Sprint front strut tower bar and just wanted to confirm the following:

These two model cars FRONT strut tower bars are interchangeable correct???
1992-00 civic = 1994-01 integra

Mods if you feel this needs to go into the suspension forum please feel free to bump it out of here, figured I'd get a quick yes or no and we can let this thread die.

Thanks much!

Cheers

I'll post up a picture as soon as its installed.

Tonight I purchased a Swift Strut Tower bar (VERY) similar to this the Neuspeed bar.

Cost of the Swift bar was $50 shipped new, however they are scratch n' dents. They specialize more in the European scene with some import items as well, but I've never been aware they made a strut tower bar until now. I figured I'd be a guinea pig. I know it'll be better then any eBay bar available and most of those aren't solid construction, the price was right so I said screw it. I'll post a pic of it installed this coming up weekend.

Looks like a NEUSPEED front strut tower brace to me..

The Swift Suspension I've heard of makes coilovers, springs, and sway bars predominantly for the JDM market. They've more recently opened up a distribution center in the US. What does this Swift company offer?

It does indeed appear to be an exact copy of the Neuspeed bar, but I was able to find it for $50 new as opposed to $150.

I'll post the finished pictures (painted it flat black, really does look like the Nuespeed bar) in a little bit.

PS- Also, I believe you were right, they do appear to make a lot of items Import cars. They don't have a website anymore either but they used to. I think we all know they make springs for sure, they were popular back in my Suby days too...this particular bar is for the 92-95 civic model but Tuner assured me it would work so I picked it up.

My reason for picking up this bar is because this style is tried and true, was also recommended by Patrick and Tyson in a previous thread I saw. I figured I'd run with this, as opposed to picking up a flimsy eBay piece.

Just figured the price was right.

Absolutely nothing wrong with your choice. I was just wondering if this was the same Swift company i'm familiar with. My comments were not intended to talk down on the strut brace at all. I just posted to mention the similarities between the two.

I think its definitely the Swift we all know, from what I understand they discontinued this bar.

No offense taken at all bud, the guy has like 60 more of them...at $50 a pop I'll gladly give out the link for others who are interested. I've actually never seen the swift bar until I received it but I know it was a huge knock off, I'm not ashamed to have this on my DB though. It was a semi-blind purchase that I had good luck with. Some random store starter on eBay, he was good people. HAHA

Here's what she looks like installed, flat black (sorry Nuespeed):

Definitely superior to the stock GSR shock tower I have. Highly recommended it folks!
