I'm deciding between two lips.(my car is lowered approx. 2.25) Either the wings west RS air dam made of urethane or the mugen style made of ABS plastic. What are some positives and negatives? I know that urethane is better b/c its almost unbrakeable. But how strong is the plastic? If anyone has this on thier integra, could you please post some pics so I have an idea?? Thanks boys!

 

You have a '94-'97 right? Definately go w/the Wings West. I dont really like the Mugen lip, especially on that year, something just doesn't flow right. The WW lip looks good tho, but only if you have the side skirts to match. I have the Mugen lip for my '98 but I took it off to try and sell it. The ABS plastic is better than fiberglass, but nothing like urethane. I'd post pix, but mine's a '98 and woudn't be much help.

 

Do you have pics of both of them?
I would say since your car is so low, get the one that sits higher up.

You have the right idea though as long as you don't get a fiberglass or Cf lip you should be fine, if you drive carefully and your local roads are descent.

 

i've had the urethane before and now i have abs plastic. yeah urethane for me handled everything - it is like rubber and won't break. but my abs plastic lip now i'm just real careful b/c it looks like i could snap it with my hands so if i hit it on a ditch i wouldn't be surprised if it broke -- go w/ urethane

 

It depends what you want more... If you'd rather have looks and aren't to worried about scraping it, go with the Mugen copy... If you're worried about which one will hold up better then go with the WW... Personally though, I don't like the WW and how it replaces the whole bottom part of the bumper... If it just bolted on to the bottom of the stock bumper like the ITR it would be better...

Best lip for that year Teg is the JDM Si lip or USDM ITR...

definately get a polyurethane lip , ww front lip is nice to.

 

With a drop of 2.25", I'd stay away from the WW RS lip. I used to have it and it hangs pretty low. I used to scrape all the time and my teg was lowered 1.75" with H&R sports. The best looking lip for the 94-97 tegs in my opinion is the Comptech ITR lip..or the OEM ITR lip if you manage to find one.

 

do not go with the abs plastic. i had one and it could not hold up, and it did not fit right.
