So I have a 94 LS with a 98-01 Front End. My mom's friend backed into the driver's side bumper, fender, hood and it's destroyed. So I have a question, how can I tell insurance if we go through insurance that it's a 98-01 bumper? I don't think they know the difference. Anyone out there go through the same problem? I wonder how much they would give me for a 94-97 Front End + Paint or if I tell them it's a 98-01 Front, I would get more money? Maybe a JDM front could be in the makings?

get a quote and tell them you are going to do the labor yourself, they cut you a check you buy the bumber you want you throw that **** on there. done and done.

 

Would I get less money if I say I do the labor myself?

 

probably not, if you tell them that you can they usually will give you the amount they would have to pay a shop.
